Hello everybody! Thank you to all of you who came to our AGM and Touch Quilts showcase at the United Active Living Fishcreek Facility.

Thank you to our gracious hosts for allowing us to have the event in their space.

Dr. Sharon Moore gave a wonderful presentation on her Touch Quilts for Dementia research project. Her team and her are currently in the process of finishing up data collection.

It was inspiring to hear the community banding together and making unique quilts for each of the quilt recipients, as well as the impact these quilts have had on the standard of living on the seniors. The data collection phase is nearing completion and Dr. Moore and her colleagues will proceed with analyzing the impact. We will share the article once it is published.
